Lucky the crab?
Today Mrs Curtis gave us a crab. It was dead. We knew it was dead because it didn't move. We looked at it. It was hard because it had a shell. We counted the legs and felt how sharp the pincers were. It was a bit smelly - it smelt like the sea - like fish!
We decided to call it lucky the crab. Lupe wanted to call the crab fluffy but it wasn't very fluffy!
When we finished looking at it, we took it to the garden and we said some lovely words to the crab. Then we dug a hole and we buried it in the soil.
Was it a lucky crab?
What a lucky Crab and I can see from the pictures great team work. I think I would of needed a peg on my nose to stop the smell from the crab. Poooooowwwwweeeeee Well done Hanly Class :-)
ReplyDeleteWe are going to watch the place where we buried it to see if the biggest flowers grow there. :)
ReplyDeleteI think with a very nice teacher, cute year 1 and with powerful team work, of course it will grow the biggest and prettiest flowers of the world, which might as well be a guardian for our school.
